At BPI we value a diverse, talented workplace and seek colleagues who strive to better understand systemic barriers as it affects patient care and our academic institutions. Brown Physicians, Inc welcomes nominations and applications from all individuals with varied experiences, perspectives, abilities, and backgrounds, to enrich our clinical, research, training, and service missions.
“At Brown Physicians, we recognize the value of having members of our BPI community with different backgrounds and points of view.”

Brown Physicians, Inc.’s Belonging & Engagement committee recently hosted a Women’s Networking Event at Narragansett Brewery, bringing together professionals from across all BPI affiliates. This offered a unique opportunity for attendees to connect, share experiences, and foster new collaborations. We want to thank everyone who attended and contributed to this successful event!
In commemoration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Belonging & Engagement Committee held an impactful Day of Service where volunteers united to organize and distribute generous donations from BPI employees—new socks, underwear, and t-shirts for the Amos House in Providence. We also crafted heartfelt letters to seniors in nursing homes through Letters Against Isolation.
The Belonging & Engagement Committee proudly sponsored the celebration of India Independence Day on Saturday, August 12th. This vibrant and culturally rich event unfolded against the backdrop of the State Capitol building, offering a day-long festivity for all to enjoy.
